Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are back together -- for a song.  Despite earlier denials, the two surviving Beatles did share the stage at Sunday's Grammy Awards ceremony on CBS.

But they didn't play a Beatles song.  Ringo was behind the drum kit for McCartney's performance of his new song "Queenie Eye."

Ringo also performed on his own.  He delivered a rendition of "Photograph" as he made his Grammy Awards performance debut, after Black Sabbath stumbled through their introduction.  The Beatles also received numerous references and honors throughout the night, even when McCartney took the stage with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear to accept an award for their collaboration "Cut Me Some Slack."

McCartney also got the nod for Best Music Film for his Live Kisses.  McCartney and Starr are slated to team up again for the upcoming special The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles, which will air on CBS on February 9th.

The 56th annual Grammy Awards were presented in a ceremony in Los Angeles, and aired on CBS Sunday night.
